It takes 3 to 4 weeks to receive scores. Usually you can get in within 3 weeks from your test date. You'll be just fine if you plan on taking your exam in January.

You may get your result on time or with 2 weeks delay (after Oct 10th). It may get delayed or may not I guess it depends on where you have taken the exam. Did you take it in US?

Hi John,

I have heard that the NBME exam is not really reflecting the real exam if you did it good means your exam will be good as well but if you didn't do it well doesn't mean that your exam will not be good.
Go for the exam with a good mood. 470 on NBME is 210.

I personally haven't used first aid as a prep tool, so really cant say much about that,but I have friends who have used it with the qbank and done well. Uworld with its explanations covers almost everything, so you can try going over it twice. Uworld is the key. You can assess yourself with nbme and brush up your weak areas. Hope this helps

I am an IMG, do any one know if i can apply for a residency match program with step 1 only, to finish the step 2 before the beginning of residency.... i know that american graduates are permitted to do so ..... how much is my chances? ...

another thing ... my creditinials are still not verified by ECFMG (but in the way to), can i start ERAS process and the verification not still done, hoping it will be completed before interviews or match day?
