yes, Archer internal medicine, ethics, psychiatry, gynecology , preventive medicine are all very good. The only thing is Pediatrics is suboptimal but topics that he covered in peds are excellent. I asked archer why they have not covered some topics in peds and surgery, they said those topics are low yield given the distribution and relative importance of each subject on the exam. So looks like they are placing emphasis on most highyield for exam

Hey yall--first post on here, would greatly appreciate your help. I am taking Step 1 on Tues Jun 19 (4 weeks and 1 day away). My NBME exam 6 was 230 scale/158 raw. I answered 110 out of 200 correctly. As you can imagine, I was weak in almost all areas.

I started studying about 1 week and half ago, and to this point, I have done Chapters 1-13 of Pathoma (there are 19 total chapters) and about 25% of the DIT lectures. I have done minimal reviewing of the material, basically just gone through lectures pretty slowly (about 1 hour/DIT lecture) and annotating extra info in the margins of FA. For Pathoma, I outlined every word onto separate paper, but again, I have not reviewed these notes at all. I have studied about 9-10 hours a day, and have probably averaged doing a 46Q on UWORLD every other day. I have gotten through 500Q, and I also took copious notes on each of these problems.

My original plan was to complete all the DIT lectures and all the Pathoma lectures 2 weeks before the exam. In the final 2 weeks, I was planning on going through all topics 1 day at a time (basically 1 FA chapter all day) and doing about 60 UWORLD. My review was going to be about 8 hours per topic, and would include reading the FA chapter, my accompanying Pathoma notes, and BRS Path just for images. I was going to spend about 8 hours per topic (slightly more for Biochem, Micro and Cardio; slightly less for Respiratory, Behavioral and Endocrine)

My question for you is should I continue on this path? I think the vast majority of my points will come in these last 2 weeks as this is the really then only time I am hard-core memorizing.

Or should I scrape some of the lectures and doing something else? It will probably take me the full 2 weeks to complete the final 75% of DIT and 6 Pathoma chapters.

Any advice is appreciated. My ultimate goal is a 230+. Thanks.
